Our Story
Mesa Verde Kitchen was founded in 2012 by Chef Maria Reyes, who grew up in Oaxaca learning traditional recipes from her grandmother. After years working in Denver's top kitchens, she opened Mesa Verde to bring those flavors home.
Everything on our menu is made from scratch daily — from our slow-braised birria to our hand-pressed tortillas. We source locally whenever possible and take pride in offering generous portions at honest prices.
